Client Intake Manager (Hybrid) – Traverse City, MI

Compensation: $80,000 to $120,000 (Base + Performance)

Location: Traverse City, MI (Hybrid Schedule)


About the Role

We are seeking a Client Intake Manager to lead and optimize the front-end client experience for a growing, high-performing law firm in Traverse City. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and understands how to convert inquiries into retained clients.

You’ll play a critical role in driving revenue, managing intake processes, and leading client conversion strategy, serving as the bridge between prospective clients and legal teams.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end client intake process
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients via phone, web, and referrals
  • Qualify leads, build rapport, and convert inquiries into signed clients
  • Track and improve conversion metrics, response times, and intake performance
  • Collaborate with attorneys and marketing to refine intake scripts and processes
  • Train and coach intake staff (if applicable) on best practices and sales techniques
  • Ensure a high-quality, empathetic client experience at every touchpoint
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and case management systems


What We’re Looking For

  • Required: Prior experience in legal intake, client intake, or B2C sales
  • Strong preference for experience in plaintiff personal injury (PI) or similar high-volume consumer-facing practice
  • Proven ability to close and convert leads and meet performance goals
  • Excellent communication skills with a consultative, empathetic approach
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM or case management systems is a plus
