About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join a growing family law practice serving clients throughout Washington State. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Washington while still engaging in meaningful client advocacy, litigation, and case strategy.

The ideal candidate is an experienced litigator who can independently handle a full family law caseload, communicate effectively with clients, and thrive in a remote and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a diverse family law caseload, including:
  • Divorce (contested and uncontested)
  • Child custody and visitation matters
  • Child support and spousal maintenance
  • Property and asset division
  • Domestic violence and protective order matters
  • Modifications and enforcement actions
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and trial materials.
  • Represent clients in remote hearings and virtual court appearances across Washington.
  • Conduct mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
  • Maintain proactive, clear communication with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
  • Collaborate remotely with team members, including paralegals and other attorneys.
  • Support firm growth through excellent client service and optional participation in business development.


Qualifications

  • Licensed and active member of the Washington State Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of family law experience, including litigation and courtroom practice.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and managing multiple cases.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual hearings, cloud-based case management, and remote workflows.
  • Preferred but not required: experience in King, Pierce or Snohomish county
