We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our Miami office in a hybrid capacity, working alongside a deep bench of talented litigators and advisors.


Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in federal and state employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, restrictive covenant, and wrongful termination matters.
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct workplace investigations, advise clients on compliance issues, and handle administrative proceedings (EEOC, FCHR, DOL).
  • Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, agreements, and training materials.
  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and hearings.
  • Provide strategic, proactive counseling to clients on employment-related issues.
  • Meet a 2,000 billable-hour requirement while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.


Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Florida Bar (required).
  • 3–10 years of labor & employment law experience (litigation and counseling).
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience with wage & hour (FLSA), discrimination, and restrictive covenant matters strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service.
