We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented Dallas family law firm seeking a senior-level Family Law Attorney with a strong origination background and deep experience handling sophisticated domestic matters.
About the Role
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced attorney who wants the autonomy to maintain and grow their practice while leveraging the infrastructure, reputation, and support of a respected firm.
You will manage complex family law matters from start to finish, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and continue expanding your referral network and book of business in the Dallas market.
Hybrid schedule – offering flexibility while maintaining meaningful in-office collaboration and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex family law matters, including high-asset divorce, custody disputes, support, property division, enforcement, and modifications
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials
- Develop and expand a portable book of business through referrals, networking, and community engagement
- Provide strategic counsel to clients navigating sensitive and emotionally charged situations
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Texas family law experience
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- Strong courtroom presence and advanced negotiation skills
- Demonstrated history of origination and business development (portable book preferred)
- Established referral network within the Dallas market
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a client-first philosophy
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills
- Board Certification in Family Law (Texas Board of Legal Specialization) is a strong plus
