We’re seeking a Territory Manager (Commercial Insurance) to develop and grow agency relationships across Central/Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. This role is a key part of our commercial growth strategy—focused on partnering with retail agents, driving submission flow, and placing business into in-house markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a defined territory by developing strong, long-term relationships with retail insurance agencies
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for your agency partners serving as a trusted commercial resource and point of contact
  • Drive profitable new business by influencing and increasing business placement into internal carrier markets
  • Maintain a consistent agency visit cadence and spend significant time on the road meeting agents in person
  • Manage a portfolio of 150+ accounts, prioritizing activity, engagement, and growth opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal underwriting and operational teams to align on goals, pipeline activity, and execution
  • Provide ongoing feedback to internal partners to ensure alignment around production strategy and territory objectives


What We’re Looking For

  • Commercial insurance experience required (carrier, wholesaler, MGA, or agency)
  • Comfortable in a B2B, relationship-driven role with a strong customer service mindset
  • Proven ability to manage a large book of accounts and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory and work independently in the field
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and a collaborative, team-first approach

Ideal Candidate Profiles

We’re open to a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Carrier-side Territory Managers / Producers
  • Commercial Underwriters who have quoted business and are ready to transition into a production-facing role (Production Underwriter-style profile)
  • Insurance professionals who may not have “traditional sales” experience, but thrive in relationship building and are motivated to grow

Sales experience is helpful, but not required—candidates with strong underwriting foundations often excel in this role.


Territory & Location

  • Territory includes Central/Northern MA and Southern NH
  • Preference for candidates living in Northern MA or Southern NH
  • Central MA is a plus, though the role leans slightly north based on territory coverage
