Retail District Manager
A fast-growing national retail brand is expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint and is searching for a highly capable Retail District Manager to lead multi-site operations and drive store growth. This is a remote role with significant travel and oversight of 10–15 retail locations across the United States.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the senior leader responsible for multi-store performance, new store openings, and the overall success of a rapidly expanding retail network. Key responsibilities include:
Leadership & Talent
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and retain high-performing store leadership.
- Lead a highly engaged retail team with a focus on sales performance and customer experience.
- Provide consistent coaching, development, and accountability across all locations.
Store Expansion & Operations
- Manage the full cycle of new store launches, including staffing, setup, and Grand Opening events.
- Support stores through in-person visits at least 3 days per week (approx. 50–75% travel).
- Ensure consistent operational standards and adherence to company policies.
Customer & Brand Experience
- Build and maintain a unified, customer-centric culture across all stores.
- Partner with internal teams to obtain resources, drive improvements, and remove obstacles.
Sales, Financials & Reporting
- Drive revenue, analyze KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to support growth.
- Manage budgets, forecast performance, and develop operational SOPs.
Event Management
- Plan and execute events with skill — including vendor coordination, timelines, setup, and day-of execution.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or higher.
- Minimum 4 years of multi-store retail leadership experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 50–75%.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- Experience with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and performance management.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities with strong time management.
- Outgoing, positive, and professional presence with a firm but respectful leadership style.
