We are currently in search of a Director of Development for a nonprofit community services organization supporting youth, adults, and families. This is a full-time, permanent senior leadership opportunity based onsite in Sonoma County, California.

POSITION TITLE: Director of Development
SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week
DURATION: Permanent – Direct Hire
SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$135,000
Is This Your Dream Job? The Director of Development is a dynamic and experienced leader responsible for advancing the organization's fundraising growth, donor engagement, and community impact. As a member of the senior leadership team, this strategic, innovative Director will build upon an established fundraising foundation while identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and long-term organizational success.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· Proven success leading fundraising strategies with measurable revenue growth, including major gifts programs
· Leadership abilities, including skills to support, develop, and retain team members
· Strong experience with donor databases, CRM systems, fundraising analytics, and reporting
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, planning, and performance
· Contribute to long-term strategy, including revenue diversification, community impact, and sustainability
· Personally manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, with clear revenue goals and relationship strategies
· Partner with the CEO and Board to support major gift cultivation and solicitation efforts
· Oversee grassroots and mid-level donor programs and campaigns to build a strong and sustainable base of support
· Oversee the strategy and execution of all fundraising events
· Build and lead a comprehensive community development function
· Direct supervision of the Development Manager, CRM function and Community Development & Programming personnel
