We are currently in search of an Operations and Events Assistant for a Voluntary Health organization located in Irvine, CA. This is a Full-Time, Hybrid, Temporary assignment (through May 2026, but with the potential to be extended).

LOCATION: Irvine, CA

POSITION TITLE: Operations and Events Assistant

SCHEDULE: Full Time (40 hours/week)

DURATION: Temporary (through May 2026)

HOURLY RATE: $26-28/hr.

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Operations and Events Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of fundraising campaign(s), events, and programs in collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve overall team and region goals. This includes providing direct data management, administrative, and logistics support to internal and external partners.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:


  • 1+ years of experience in Operations and Events required
  • Demonstrated track record in project management with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet specified timelines.
  • Experience with complex clerical responsibilities and data entry, management, and reporting
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute corporate events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and creative design applications (e.g,. Adobe Creative, Canva)     


 How You Will Spend Your Day:


  • Provides a wide variety of skilled logistical, administrative, clerical, and data management support to assigned core markets, ensuring all programs and office functions run efficiently
  • Ensures a high quality of service is provided to all staff, volunteers, and other external and internal customers
  • Support team members with planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating fundraising events (digital and in-person)
  • Assist with procuring necessary resources to provide day-of-event support
  • Supports the implementation of year-round pipelines and cultivation plans for corporate accounts, ensuring sufficient depth for revenue generation and excellent customer relations
  • Creates event collateral and promotional materials with precise attention to detail.
  • Assist with the timely processing of donations in accordance with established requirements and standards
  • Proactively ensures timely communication with internal and external partners and customers, supporting collaboration in account management and activities to achieve shared goals
