We are currently in search of an Accounting Assistant for a Food Bank located in Concord, CA. This is a Part-Time (30 hrs./wk.), In-person, Temporary (~ 4 weeks) assignment.

 

ORGANIZATION: Food Bank

LOCATION: Concord, CA

POSITION TITLE: Accounting Assistant

SCHEDULE: Part Time (30 hrs./wk.); In Person

DURATION: Temporary (~4 weeks)

HOURLY RATE: $25-30/hr. DOE

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Accounting Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Accounting and Finance teams. This role is responsible for assisting with invoice processing, data entry and maintenance, claims compilation, and other day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in financial records.


Our Ideal Candidate:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in AP/AR required
  • Proficient with MS Office & Excel required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Navision preferred

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

 

  • Run checks, expenses, A/P
  • Conduct integration of expense reports
  • Process expense reports
  • Process bank deposits
  • Scan/File checks and expense reports
  • Complete Excel reports, data entry into existing reports, and should be familiar with data entry into "linked spreadsheets"
