We are currently in search of an Administrative Assistant for a Research Institute. The position is On-site in Washington, DC. This is a part-time, temporary position.

Is This Your Dream Job? The Administrative Assistant will support the President/CEO by managing operations and administrative functions to enhance the efficiency of business processes. This role will serve as the point of contact for the President/CEO and will play a key part in handling the overall organization of the office.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· 1 year of administrative experience required
· Project management experience a plus
· Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Provide administrative support to the President/CEO and Leadership Team
· Manage the President/CEO’s schedule, meeting preparations, business travel, and follow-up tasks
· Provide administrative and record-keeping support for meetings including recording, processing and distributing meeting minutes as needed
· Support the administrative management of organizational records and implement processes to manage projects, information, and people
· Daily management of email inbox and phone calls
· Maintain continuous communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure seamless operations, while collaborating with external partners and members to provide necessary documentation and exchange information
· Collaborate with President/CEO and Leadership Team to support research for special projects and provide additional support as requested
· Contribute to enhancing the efficiency of business processes. Identify areas for improvement within operational processes and implement changes to streamline workflows and increase productivity. Evaluate operational performance using key metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
· Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures as needed
· Other duties as assigned
