POSITION: Partnership Development Manager

LOCATION: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days in-office/2 remote)

SCHEDULE: 8:30AM-5:30PM

SALARY: $55,000-$60,000 plus uncapped commission

 

Is This Your Dream Job? As the Partnership Development Manager you will take ownership over cultivating relationships with our existing book of clients and expanding our reach to new clients through face-to-face meetings, cold calls and networking. This individual needs to possess a high level of customer service skills and be diligent and fearless in their relentless efforts to get in front of potential clients and help them understand how our services can help them hire better talent, faster. Once you have a job order in front of you, you will partner closely with our team of local Recruiters to hand each search off, ensuring exceptional knowledge transfer, collaboration and service to our clients. This role caters to individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, set and achieve goals, have a growth-mindset and natural business acumen. Exposure to or passion for the nonprofit sector is a plus.


Compensation: Our compensation structure is designed to motivate and reward performance. We provide an uncapped commission structure, with graduated tiers that translate to higher earnings based on meeting and exceeding established goals. At goal, total compensation for year 1 is targeted at $65k-$70k. Each year with us should result is continued growth in compensation based on growth in your book of business that translates to higher commission earnings.

Prior experience in sales, staffing, client services or the nonprofit sector is helpful – but not required.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage with and foster relationships with existing book of clients in DC area to create repeat business and grow our partnerships
  • Conduct cold sales calls daily and discuss our services with new potential clients, send follow-up emails as needed
  • Open 4+ highly qualified job orders per week for our Recruiters to fill
  • Enter all client information and notes from client conversations into our CRM/ATS
  • As roles open, share all notes and pertinent information with the Recruiter leading the search, ensuring a clear transfer of knowledge and follow-up plan
  • Independently follow up with clients inquiring on our website or through our main phone line with a high sense of urgency
  • As needed, support the Recruiter in resolving client-related issues, questions or concerns as it relates to open searches or filled roles
  • Visits client organizations, tours their place of business, learning more about their culture and how we can make exceptional matches for them
  • As requested, completed RFP's and RFI's for nonprofits seeking to learn more about our services
  • Self-reflect with your Manager on what makes a highly placeable job, consistently tweaking your efforts, language and output to improve viability and qualification of job orders consistently
  • Track client engagement, market trends and objections, sharing those observations on the market with your Manager and brainstorming ways to get ahead of potential challenges
