We are currently searching for a temporary Project and Grants Manager for a Healthcare Association. This role is full-time and hybrid, with up to 2 days in the office.

 

Position Title: Manager, TTA Project and Grant Management

Organization Type: Healthcare Association

Location: Hybrid, up to 2 days on-site in Bethesda, MD

Duration: Temporary (approximately 2-3 months)

Pay Rate: $50-54/hour

 

Is This Your Dream Job? This position will support the organization in meeting strict grant deliverables and federal compliance. This role will ensure compliance, coordinate across multiple projects, support additional projects from upcoming funding, and provide critical assistance for any expected competitive grant applications.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience administering federal grant program, minimum 5 years.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the complete Grants Management Life Cycle.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with grantee reporting platforms (i.e., grants.gov, Electronic Handbook).
  • Knowledge of federally funded public health and/or primary care programs.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex federal requirements, review financial reports and budgets, and diagnose operational problems.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and technologies, and their application in process improvement.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to summarize key metrics to report the progress status of a cooperative agreement to key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of individuals, with an ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality, as well as strong decision-making ability and attention to detail.

 

How You'll Spend Your Day:

  • Oversee the Project Management Information System (PMIS) and maintains clear workflows, automation, and reporting dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement for existing functionality, troubleshooting, and developing internal staff training materials.
  • Guide functional teams and direct the daily execution of cooperative agreement requirements to manage scope, meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
  • Provide interface, communication, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and prepare application materials. Examine proposed costs, to ensure they are reasonable, necessary, and allowable.
  • Review and analyze PMIS data to ensure the accuracy of information. Draft monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Report on status, milestones, deliverables, outcomes, and lessons learned to all applicable parties.
  • Conduct risk assessments, financial reviews, and programmatic audits and recommend or initiate actions.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with program goals through pre-site, on-site, and post-site visit activities.
  • Analyze and interpret federal guidelines and create internal practices by developing and executing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable process improvements.
