We are currently in search of a Vice President of Residential Programs for a Community Health Organization. The position is Onsite in Sonoma, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Community Health Organization 

LOCATION: Sonoma, CA (Onsite)

POSITION TITLE: Vice President of Residential Programs

SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week 

DURATION: Permanent – Direct Hire

SALARY RANGE: $145,000 - $165,000

Reporting directly to the CEO, this Executive Leader oversees three unique behavioral-health-focused residential programs, particularly for youth transitioning from foster care. Helping to break cycles of trauma and strengthen overall community health, these comprehensive youth residential programs integrate education, counseling, career prep, and recreational opportunities. As this established organization approaches a new chapter of growth, the V.P. will lead continuous quality improvement processes and also develop and design new initiatives to continue supporting youth with building resilience while navigating adversity.   

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with determining decisions based on data & financial evaluations, organizational strategic plan, and external programs market  
  • Expertise in leading programmatic and organizational changes; continuously identifies and implements opportunities for advancement
  • Skilled in designing workflow models that optimize operational efficiency 
  • Exceptional outreach skills, expertise with articulating program value and capabilities
  • Skilled at collaborating with program staff across the organization  
  • Models a compassionate, strong organizational culture rooted in collaboration, respect, DEI, learning, and innovation
  • Minimum of 10 years total program experience 
  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred 

 

How You Will Spend Your Day

  • Design and evaluate community needs assessments
  • Leverage data to launch new programmatic initiatives
  • Help ensure optimal program performance and continued compliance with contracts, including billing and documentation requirements
  • Develop and implement strategic work plan aligned with CEO strategic plan
  • Build and grow relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful continuation of the organization’s innovative services  
  • Hold staff accountable, empower team members, and drive high-impact results
  • Help design and implement internal trainings to ensure intentional service delivery and strategic management
  • Meet weekly with direct staff and members of the residential programs.
