We are currently in search of a CRM Coordinator for a Cultural Exchange Nonprofit. The position is Hybrid in New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan). This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with an anticipated annual salary of $55,000 to $70,000

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Cultural Exchange Nonprofit 

LOCATION: New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan) 

POSITION TITLE: CRM Coordinator 

SCHEDULE: Full-time, 35 – 40 hours/week, Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday onsite – Monday and Friday Remote, 9 to 5 

DURATION: Temporary to Permanent 

HOURLY RATE: $27.00 - $31.00 

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The CRM Coordinator serves as the organization’s NEON One system custodian and primary day-to-day liaison for members and branches. The role is responsible for the accurate, reliable, and consistent operational use of the CRM to support the full membership lifecycle—including inquiries, onboarding, renewals, and engagement activities—in alignment with approved organizational policies and practices. The position ensures data integrity and operational continuity across membership services, programs, finance coordination, and development support and is administrative and execution-focused in nature.

How You Will Spend Your Day: 

  • Maintain accurate member, donor, event, and transaction records within NEON One. 
  • Perform routine data maintenance tasks, including duplicate record review and correction. 
  • Ensure consistent data entry standards across membership, events, and donations. 
  • Monitor system health and flag data quality issues to leadership. 
  • Process and post membership applications, renewals, event registrations, and donations in NEON One. 
  • Batch and summarize transactions for handoff to finance. 
  • Perform high-level reconciliation between NEON One and accounting records to ensure alignment. 
  • Generate routine, standardized reports related to: 
  • Membership counts and renewals 
  • Branch Rosters 
  • Donation totals and activity 
  • Event participation 
  • Provide data extracts and summaries for staff, branches, and leadership use as requested. 
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and consistent with system records. 
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for NEON One questions and troubleshooting. 
  • Provide basic training and guidance to staff and volunteers on NEON One processes. 
  • Maintain simple documentation for common system tasks and workflows. 
  • Coordinate with NEON One support or consultants when vendor assistance is required. 
  • Ensure membership processes within NEON One support timely renewals, onboarding, and member communications. 
  • Support automated and standardized membership communications as approved by leadership. 
  • Maintain continuity between membership services and system operations. 
  • Acts as the primary operational liaison between the organization, its branches and members, supporting the full membership lifecycle in alignment with approved recruitment, retention, and engagement practices. 
  • Provides responsive, accurate, and courteous support, to branches and members, throughout the membership lifecycle, including inquiries, onboarding, renewals, and issue resolution.
