We are currently in search of an Operations Assistant for a Girls’ Sports Nonprofit. The position is in-person in Harlem. This is a part-time, temporary position.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Girls’ Sports Nonprofit

LOCATION: New York City (Harlem)

POSITION TITLE: Operations Assistant

SCHEDULE: 15-25 hours/week (flex schedule)

DURATION: Temporary (~4 months)

HOURLY RATE: $22.00 - $25.00

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Operations Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to day operations of programs. This role involves assisting with interest inquiries, program admissions, registration management and maintaining accurate records. The role will begin at 15 hours/week, but could increase to 25/week depending on volume. Flexible scheduling available!

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

·       2+ years of administrative experience required

·       Must be highly proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas, data validation, etc)

·       Prior experience utilizing CRM systems required

·       Exceptional customer service skills

·       Bilingual in Spanish a plus

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

·       Respond to inquiries received via email, phone, or in person by providing basic program information and application steps.

·       Delegate inquiries to the appropriate departments as needed.

·       Conduct admissions interviews with prospective students and their families.

·       Provide support throughout the registration process

·       Develop and manage registration forms, including installment plans, discount codes, and payment tracking.

·       Review and process financial documentation to determine tuition on a case-by-case basis.

·       Support families with registration system use and troubleshoot issues as needed.

·       Track tuition payments and maintain detailed records to ensure accuracy.

·       Maintain up-to-date student and family records, including attendance, health forms, and tuition payments.

·       Identify and address discrepancies in records, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

·       Assist in generating reports for internal use, including program performance and enrollment metrics.
