We are currently in search of a Development Officer for a Community Based orgnization located in Visalia, CA. This is a Fully Remote, Part-Time (20 hrs./wk.), Temporary (~3-6 months) assignment.

LOCATION: Fully Remote

POSITION TITLE: Development Officer

SCHEDULE: Part-Time (20 hours/week)

DURATION: Temporary (~3-6 months) with potential for extension

HOURLY PAY: $35-37/hour

Is This Your Dream Job: The Development Officer will support donor outreach and fundraising efforts, with a focus on the organization's capital campaign.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of experience in Fundraising, Donor Outreach, and Donor Solicitation
• Proficiency with Bloomerang (or similar CRM) is highly preferred
• Someone who is comfortable with outreach and direct asks
• Experience setting up in-person meetings for the CEO or Director of Development
• Proven success in sales, fundraising, or business development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build authentic relationships over phone, video calls, and emails

How You Will Spend Your Day:

• Reconnect with past donors and build ongoing relationships
• Identify, research, and engage new donor prospects, especially for the Build to Belong campaign
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective supporters
• Guide donors from initial outreach through to making a gift
• Make direct, thoughtful, and confident asks for support
• Track outreach, relationships, and fundraising progress
