We are currently in search of a Community Impact and Fundraising Associate for a Community-based Organization. The position is primarily Remote in Southern Maryland. This is a full-time, temporary position.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Community Based Organization
LOCATION: Remote (Must be in Charles, Calvert or St. Mary’s County, MD)
POSITION TITLE: Community Impact and Fundraising Associate
SCHEDULE: 35 hours/week
DURATION: Temporary (possibly temp to perm)
HOURLY RATE: $27.00- $30.00
Is This Your Dream Job? The Community Impact & Fundraising Associate will support both community engagement and fundraising teams by coordinating events, managing donor data, and assisting with programs, grants, and partnerships. If converted permanently, the salary range is $68-$72k. Some travel to local events may be required.
Our Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or community engagement
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with CRM systems required
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
How You Will Spend Your Day:
• Coordinate community events, outreach, and volunteer activities
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and donors
• Enter and manage donor data in CRM systems
• Support fundraising campaigns and donor communications
• Track grant deadlines, reports, and program outcomes
• Assist with event logistics, materials, and follow-ups
• Draft basic communications like updates and event recaps
