We are seeking a Partnerships & Development Operations Manager for an agriculture-focused nonprofit. This fully remote position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity, with an anticipated salary range of $110,000 to $115,000.

HOURLY RATE: $43.00 - $45.00/hr

As the Partnerships & Development Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining operations, enhancing project management, and driving the adoption of innovative tools and processes to optimize fundraising efforts. This position requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and collaboration across teams to ensure the success of donor relationships and departmental objectives.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:


  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in business management or related area of study
  • Project management certification is a plus!
  • Brings 3–5 years of experience in sales/portfolio management, program coordination, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record in project management, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Has hands-on experience leading pipelines or partnerships using CRM/project management tools.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Excels in writing, editing, and proofreading with attention to detail.
  • Possesses strong critical thinking, research, analytic, and organizational skills.
  • Thrives in independent work and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Is committed to donor service and professionalism at the highest standards.

 

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:


  • Lead implementation, training, and maintenance of the department CRM tool while coordinating integration with other team tools.
  • Develop and refine internal processes to enhance project management and inter-departmental coordination.
  • Design and oversee the pipeline management system for program efficiency.
  • Manage weekly department meetings, follow-ups, and action tracking.
  • Prepare updates, reports, and presentations for the VP; assist with external presentation preparations.
  • Optimize department operational systems, including donor management and reporting tools.
  • Track online fundraising and individual giving sources.
  • Develop and maintain an internal monitoring and evaluation system linked to departmental goals.
  • Compose and send letters to funding partners collaboratively with the VP.
  • Partner with Communications, Science, and Operations Teams on events and outreach activities.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the VP.
