We are currently in search of a Grants Writer for an Environmental Organization. This is a Full or Part-Time, Fully Remote, Temporary (through September) opportunity.

ORGANIZATION: Environmental Organization

LOCATION: Fully Remote

POSITION TITLE: Grants Writer

SCHEDULE: Full or Part Time (30-40 hrs./wk.); Work hours between 9 AM - 5 PM EST

DURATION: Temporary (through September)

PAY RATE: $37-40/hr.

Is This Your Dream Job? The Grants Writer will support the organization in interacting with donors, meeting fundraising targets, and assisting with grant proposals, writing of grants, and submitting applications.

 Our Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in Fundraising
• Knowledge and experience in philanthropy/foundations
• Grant application experience + proven success in grant writing
• Experience with a grant writing CRM (Instrumentl or other similar software)
• Proficient with Salesforce preferred
• Proficient with Instrumentl grant management platform is highly preferred
• Ability to translate research data into an easy-to-understand format

How You Will Spend Your Day:

• Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to convey seemingly complicated projects in a compelling and persuasive manner
• Write, prepare, and submit grant proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, and other related correspondence
• Identify and research individual, corporate, foundation, and other funding opportunities
• Maintain a calendar of applications, reporting, and other key dates to ensure timely completion and submission of applications and reports
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
• Participate in the development of short-term and long-term fundraising planning
• Assist in managing and cultivating relationships with external funders
• Assist with other grant writing and projects
• Other duties as assigned
