We are currently in search of an Administrative Assistant for a Law Enforcement Support Nonprofit. The position is Hybrid in New York, NY. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with an anticipated salary of $56,500 to $62,000 (possibility of higher salary for candidates with billing/invoicing experience).

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Law Enforcement Support Nonprofit

LOCATION: New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan)

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant

SCHEDULE: Full-time, 35 to 40 hours/week, 9 to 5, Hybrid – Tues-Thurs Onsite – Mon & Fri Remote

DURATION: Temp-to-Perm

HOURLY RATE: $25.00 - $27.00

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for all visitors and guests at the organization’s office. The role will encompass receptionist duties, general clerical duties, data entry, answering phones, and other administrative tasks as needed.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

·       3+ years of administrative experience required

·       Experience with data entry required (Excel, etc.)

·       Welcoming, flexible, and friendly personality

·       Billing/Invoicing experience is a major plus

·       Receptionist experience is a plus

·       CRM/Database experience is a plus (Raiser’s Edge, etc.)

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Answering phones
  • Corresponding through email on behalf of the organization
  • Greeting incoming visitors/guests
  • Data entry in Excel, Raiser’s Edge, etc.
  • Handling some billing and invoices
  • General clerical duties
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed
