POSITION: Level 1 -- Account Representative

LOCATION: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days in-office/2 remote)

SCHEDULE: 8:30AM-5:30PM

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Client Services and Business Development

 

About the Role and Growth Potential:

As an Account Representative at Careers In Nonprofits, you will start at Level 1, with opportunities for advancement through our structured account team levels: Account Representative, Account Manager, and Account Executive. This role is designed for growth, offering a clear pathway to more senior roles and greater responsibility over time.

 

Essential Job Functions:

As an Account Representative, you will oversee management, growth, and satisfaction of clients. An Account Representative is considered a talent acquisition and management subject matter expert. Primary responsibilities include identifying clients’ staffing needs, providing talent management advice, making hiring decisions, coaching and counseling hiring managers, and handling client inquiries and issues.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Acts as the primary liaison between Careers In Nonprofits & PNP Staffing Group and the Clients

·       Responsible for growing relationships and creating new opportunities with assigned accounts

·       Effectively increase sales and business by bringing in job orders from lapsed clients at a high level

·       Communicates with clients by phone or in person and receives orders, enters and maintains data and all pertinent activity in Loxo for applicants, orders, and clients

·       Independently follows up with clients with a high sense of urgency to deliver search/placement updates

·       Identifies and works to resolve client-related issues with a high sense of urgency while consistently looking for opportunities to improve the client experience

·       Visits client organizations, tours their place of business and obtains contracts, and maintains a high level of rapport with clients, staff, and applicants

 

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

·       2-year College Degree or equivalent business experience

·       1-3 years of account management or sales experience

·       Staffing industry experience preferred

·       Familiar with consultative, solutions-based selling 

·       Strong sales presentation and persuasion skills

·       Possess a high sense of urgency and self confidence

·       Work well within a quota driven environment

·       Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Energetic, self-manager who can lead and achieve sales goals

Compensation:

Our compensation structure combines a stable base salary with uncapped commission potential, targeting approximately $65,000 in the first year and $80,000+ in the second. High performers enjoy growth opportunities and the chance to earn at even higher levels.
