We are looking for a temporary, part-time Data Specialist for a Healthcare Association. This role is fully remote.

Position Title: Training and Evaluation Data Specialist

Location: Washington, DC; Remote

Schedule: 15-20 hours/week (4 half days OR 2 full days/week)

Duration: Approximately September 30, 2025 through January 30, 2025

Pay Rate: $30-33/hour


Is This Your Dream Job? The Training and Evaluation Data Specialist is responsible for data extraction, cleaning, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong skills using survey platforms, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms, with experience in cleaning, linking, and analyzing datasets for various business intelligence insights, grant reporting, and overall data-driven decision making.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis-focused role.
  • Knowledge of survey design, data analysis and management, qualitative research, and project management.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Experience with statistical analysis software, survey platforms, project management software, and data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
  • Proficiency in Qualtrics, PowerBI, Asana, and/or Smartsheet preferred
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently and adapt to changes in project requirements.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience reducing manual workflows by leveraging APIs, SQL, PowerBI, and Engagement Management System (EGM) or Customer Relations Management (CRM) integrations.



How You'll Spend Your Day:

a) Evaluation Survey and Project Management

i. Respond to requests for standard training evaluations

ii. Create evaluations adhering to standard operating procedures using a standard template in Qualtrics

iii. Share evaluations with training leads for post-event dissemination

iv. Close evaluations and create summary reports for grant reporting

v. Log evaluation results into project management software (e.g., Smartsheet)

b) Data Management

i. Export, clean, and transform registration, participation, and evaluation data from event hosting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Conferences.io, Conference events), Qualtrics, Engagement Management Systems (iMIS), and others

ii. Combine and analyze datasets using Excel, PowerQuery

iii. Assist in linking training data to Engagement Management Systems (e.g., iMIS) and Project Management Systems (Smartsheet) for performance tracking

iv. Ensure data accuracy/consistency and troubleshoot discrepancies

c) Data Visualization

i. Support the Evaluation Manager by cleaning and transforming data for PowerBI

ii. Conduct quality control checks of the PowerBI Dashboard

d) Evaluation and Training Data Reports

i. Draft evaluation and training data reports using Adobe, Canva

e) Support and Other Duties

i. Support the creation of an organization-wide training data inventory

ii. Collaborate with the Evaluation Manager to identify potential challenges, propose solutions, and implement processes to address them effectively

iii. Support efforts to promote data systems integration by identifying and promoting opportunities for alignment and integration

iv. Other duties as assigned
