We are searching for a temporary Administrative Assistant for a Faith-Based organization. This role is part-time and on-site in Washington, DC.


Organization Type: Faith-Based Nonprofit

Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Washington, DC; on-site

Schedule: Mon-Thu 10am - 5pm (28 hours/week)

Duration: Temporary; approx. 1 month, possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $20-22/hour


Is This Your Dream Job: This Administrative Assistant will provide general clerical and administrative support to 2 program managers, and support staff as they prepare for their end-of-year fundraising event.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 1-2 years of administrative support experience required
  • Proficient with Google Suite
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor
  • Excellent organizational skills, team player, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and flexibility to manage a broad range of responsibilities.


How You'll Spend Your Day:

  • Provide direct support to 2 program managers and other staff as needed
  • Provide a welcoming environment to visitors and staff and answer the phone promptly.
  • Serve as receptionist, route phone calls and take complete messages, greet and direct visitors. 
  • Maintain shared office spaces, prepping the office space for the workday, managing office calendars, and keeping the space tidy.
  • Liaise with vendors
  • Assist in preparing materials for meetings, events, and presentations
  • Maintain digital and paper filing systems
  • Perform other clerical tasks as assigned
