We are currently in search of a Human Resources Assistant for a Social Justice Organization located in New York City (Midtown Manhattan). This is a Part- Time (20-25 hrs./wk.), In-Person or Hybrid, Temporary (~3 months) assignment.

PAY RATE $25-27/hr. DOE

In this role, you will provide invaluable support to the HR team and help streamline the administrative processes that keep the organization's HR department running smoothly.


Our Ideal Candidate:


  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Organization: High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Education/Experience: An associate's or bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:


  • Maintaining files, managing schedules, and assisting with day-to-day tasks
  • Assist with addressing and resolving generic HR-related issues that may arise, ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly
  • Play a vital role in maintaining accurate documentation and a well-organized paper trail for HR transactions and processes
  • Utilize HRIS platforms, such as ADP, for data entry, record-keeping, and reporting, as well as Microsoft Office Suite for various HR-related tasks
