We are currently in search of an Administrative Assistant for a Jewish Community & Advocacy Nonprofit. The position is on-site on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NY. This is a Part-time, temporary position supporting the Finance and Development Department during the year-end fundraising season.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Jewish Community & Advocacy Nonprofit
LOCATION: Upper West Side, Manhattan
POSITION TITLE: Development and Operations Assistant
SCHEDULE: 15 hours/week, within standard office hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm. Ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with flexibility to accommodate Tuesday or Thursday for the right candidate.
DURATION: October 1 - December 31, 2026
HOURLY RATE: $25.00 - $27.00

This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys supporting both development and operations in a mission-driven nonprofit environment. The Administrative Assistant will help with gift processing, donor acknowledgements, DonorPerfect database tasks, basic bookkeeping, office operations, and executive and Board support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with databases and accounting software, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident communicating with donors and internal stakeholders.
