We are currently searching for an Administrative Assistant for a Nonprofit Professional Organization located in Washington D.C. This is a Part-Time (10-20 hours/week), Hybrid, Temporary (through April, but could be extended) assignment.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Nonprofit Professional Org.

LOCATION: Washington D.C.

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant

SCHEDULE: 10-20 hours/week (flexible); NOTE - One day a week in the office to start, then will be required to come into the office one day every 2-3 weeks

DURATION: Temporary (through April, but could be extended)

HOURLY PAY: $24-26/hour

 

Is This Your Dream Job: This Organization is seeking a part-time, temporary Administrative Assistant to assist the Director of Operations in managing the day-to-day needs of the office and provide a full range of administrative services.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years working in an admin/office capacity
  • Accurate and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational ability
  • Experience working with donations, AP, or member dues is a plus (data entry only, not bookkeeper or accountant)


How You Will Spend Your Day:


  • Provide general office/admin support to the Director of Operations
  • Entering payments, donations, and member dues into the system
  • Assist with membership tasks leading up to the spring conference
  • Open and process mail
  • Use QuickBooks for payment processing
  • Use Salsa CRM (Bonterra) for donation entry
  • Use the MemberSuite association management membership system
