We are currently searching for a Database Manager for a Youth Development Nonprofit. The position is a full-time, temporary opportunity. This role will be fully remote, but the candidate must be based in the NYC/NJ area.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Youth Development Nonprofit

LOCATION: Remote (must be based in NYC-area)

POSITION TITLE: Database Manager

SCHEDULE: Full Time

DURATION: Temporary (~6-8 weeks)

HOURLY RATE: $28.00 - $31.00 

 

 

Is This Your Dream Job? This Database Manager will support a youth development nonprofit during the final phase of a database transition from Salesforce to Raiser’s Edge. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who can step in quickly to finalize data integrity, troubleshoot gaps, and ensure the system is fully operational post-migration. The primary focus will be reviewing and mapping transferred data, reconciling gifts received during the transition gap (~2 months), and helping establish a clean, functional database structure moving forward.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven ability to utilize Raiser's Edge, setting up architecture and data entry
  • Basic familiarity with Salesforce required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Approx 5 years of experience in database management overall
  • Must reside in the NYC/NJ area

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Finalize the database transition, ensuring all data has been accurately imported and mapped
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed
  • Reconcile and input gifts received during the transition gap period
  • Refine database architecture and workflows to align with organizational needs
  • Perform data cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency across donor records
  • Generate donor acknowledgements as needed
  • Support ongoing database maintenance in Raiser’s Edge
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
