We are currently in search of a Development Analytics Manager for a renowned healthcare nonprofit organization. This position is a temporary-to-permanent position on a hybrid schedule, requiring 1 to 2 days per week in the office on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

SALARY: $40 to $42/hour, anticipated salary up to $90,000/year after conversion

The Development Analytics Manager serves as a strategic partner within the Development team, responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive fundraising performance and growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Development Operations, this role oversees reporting platforms and data warehouse tools (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) in partnership with the Data team. The Manager plays a critical role in integrating analytics into decision-making at every level and in fostering a culture of data-driven strategy across the department.


Our Ideal Candidate:

· Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, or related field preferred

· 5+ years of progressive experience in fundraising analytics, development operations in a related nonprofit, healthcare, or higher education environment

· Proficiency with SQL, Python, or R, with the ability to work with large datasets and ETL processes

· Demonstrated success in developing and managing data warehouses, data lakes, or similar infrastructures

· Strong experience with fundraising CRMs and data visualization tools

· Ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences

· Committed to data security, confidentiality, and best practices in data governance


How You Will Spend Your Day:

· Partner with leadership and frontline staff to deliver data-driven strategies that enhance donor engagement, campaign planning, and fundraising performance

· Collaborate with the Data team to develop and maintain the department’s data warehouse, ensuring integration with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Tableau, and Alteryx

· Create and manage dynamic dashboards, reporting tools, and visualizations aligned with institutional KPIs

· Conduct donor and prospect data analysis, segmentation, predictive modeling, and forecasting to support acquisition, retention, and revenue growth

· Provide benchmarking and performance evaluations to measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements

· Build and sustain a culture of data-driven decision-making through training, consultation, and proactive support

· Collaborate on the creation and enforcement of data governance policies, ensuring compliance with security and privacy best practices

· Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in fundraising analytics, introducing innovative solutions to advance philanthropic goals
