We are currently in search of a Fundraising and Engagement Manager for a National Cancer Foundation. The position is Hybrid in Midtown Manhattan. This is a full-time, permanent position.

POSITION TITLE: Fundraising and Engagement Manager
SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid (On-site: Monday – Thursday)
DURATION: Permanent
ANNUAL SALARY: $90,000

The Fundraising and Engagement Manager will be responsible for contributing to the broader development strategy and executing high-impact events while engaging board members to support fundraising initiatives. This role will work closely with the Founder & CEO and is ideal for someone who is a proactive, adaptable, and relationship-driven fundraiser.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· 4-5+ years of nonprofit development/fundraising experience
· Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
· Major gifts and donor relations experience
· Proven ability to interact and engage with board members
· Experience managing event operations
· Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
· Tech savvy
· Must be mission-driven and passionate about cancer-related work
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Cultivate and steward major donors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders to support fundraising goals and long-term engagement.
· Research and identify prospective donors, sponsors, and partnership opportunities to expand the organization’s funding pipeline.
· Coordinate trustee, advisory board, and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, communications, and follow-up actions.
· Manage board engagement initiatives and maintain strong communication with board members and volunteers.
· Plan and execute fundraising events, donor cultivation activities, and special events from planning through post-event follow-up.
· Oversee event logistics, including timelines, invitations, venue contracts, registrations, vendors, and on-site operations.
· Supervise event support staff and coordinate volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
· Maintain accurate donor records, prospect tracking, fundraising data, and reporting within the organization’s database.
· Support Junior Board and Young Professionals Board initiatives through engagement, programming, and volunteer coordination.
