We are currently in search of a Development Operations Assistant for a Health Services Nonprofit. The position is on-site in New York, NY (Upper Manhattan). This is a Full-time, temp position.

LOCATION: New York, NY (Upper Manhattan)

POSITION TITLE: Development Operations Assistant

SCHEDULE: Full-time, 35 hours/week on-site, 9 to 5

DURATION: Temporary

HOURLY RATE: $25.00 - $27.00

The Development Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of a busy fundraising department by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of donor data, processing gifts, maintaining donor records, and producing acknowledgments and reports. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with databases, has exceptional attention to detail, thrives in an administrative environment, and takes pride in keeping fundraising operations organized and running efficiently

 

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

·       Experience using a donor database or CRM system required ( Raiser’s Edge is preferred)

·       Comfortable processing gifts, maintaining donor records, and running database reports required

·       Experience with Microsoft Office, including Mail Merge, Excel, and Word required

·       Experience with project management tools (Monday.com, etc.) is a plus

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

·       Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Raiser's Edge donor database through data entry, cleanup, and record updates.

·       Process high-volume gifts and create new donor records as needed.

·       Generate acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and mail merges using Microsoft Word and Excel.

·       Prepare donor and fundraising reports and maintain gift documentation.

·       Support development operations projects and ensure timely, accurate donor stewardship.

·       Participate in training and follow best practices for gift processing and database management.
