We are currently searching for a temporary to hire Grants & Development Coordinator for an Education Nonprofit. The position is full-time, temporary to hire and hybrid in Washington, DC.

POSITION TITLE: Grants & Development Coordinator

SCHEDULE: 35 hours/week

DURATION: Temporary to hire

HOURLY PAY: $32-35.00/hour

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and general CRM systems (Bloomerang CRM experience a plus)
  • Experience with billing requests and management
  • Strong background in grants, development, and communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with C-level executives
  • Highly adaptable with a strong sense of collaboration
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Comfortable with research and AI technologies
  • Knowledge of early learning funding, preferred
  • Familiarity with OSSE/EGMS/funder platforms, preferred

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

 

  • Manage grants and development processes, such as managing funding calendar with deadlines and requirements for grants, working with external fundraising partners.
  • Generate acknowledgement letters and solicitation correspondence to individual donors
  • Coordinate communications related to grants and development
  • Collaborate with the finance team to process and track all donations.
  • Meet all grant deadlines and ensure grant requirements are fulfilled
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams
  • Utilize CRM systems for efficient management of donor and grant information
  • Adapt to evolving organizational needs and learn new skills as required
