We are looking for a temporary-to-permanent Development Manager for an Education Nonprofit. This role is part-time, with a targeted conversion date in July 2026.

Pay: $34-$35/hr , salary upon conversion $80k-90k
Is This Your Dream Job: We are seeking a mission-aligned, self-motivated Development Manager to provide high-level administrative, development, and personal support to the Founder & CEO and the Board of Directors.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience,
- At least 3 years in nonprofit development with a proven track record of securing grants and donations and the ability to meet fundraising goals
- Experience using donor management systems or CRMs (e.g., Little Green Light, Salesforce, Bloomerang)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva, Constant Contact, and WordPress are a plus
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and donor lifecycle engagement
- Ability to support grant writing processes, including gathering documentation and tracking deadlines
- Comfortable conducting donor or prospect research and preparing donor briefing materials
- Familiarity with planning and executing donor or fundraising events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong persuasive writing
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident in presenting to diverse stakeholders and building long-term donor relationships
- Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit and strong ethical judgment
- Experience engaging diverse communities is highly valued.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
How You’ll Spend Your Day:
- Develop & execute fundraising strategies aligned with the annual development plan
- Write grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funder reports (government, foundation, and corporate)
- Manage the full grant cycle in collaboration with the CEO, including compliance and reporting
- Research funding opportunities aligned with the organization's needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, including site visit participation
- Coordinate the development calendar, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met
- Analyze program data to support development reporting and impact narratives
- Develop engaging donor communications and solicitation materials
- Assist in planning fundraising events and coordinating volunteers
- Maintain donor database and manage website, social media, and external communication related to the Frontline Care Center
