How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:
As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in promoting a safe, compliant, and supportive work environment. Your focus will be on managing workers' compensation claims, leading safety initiatives, and conducting thorough workplace investigations. You’ll work closely with operations and HR leadership to reduce risk, improve employee well-being, and ensure compliance with California labor and OSHA regulations. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of HR experience—preferably in construction or a related field—are preferred.
Workers' Compensation:
Oversee the end-to-end process for workers’ comp claims, from reporting to return-to-work coordination, ensuring timely communication with carriers and injured employees.
Safety Programs:
Implement and monitor workplace safety programs, coordinate with supervisors on corrective actions, and support OSHA compliance through training and reporting.
Workplace Investigations:
Lead or support investigations related to harassment, discrimination, and policy violations; maintain detailed documentation and recommend appropriate resolutions.
HR Support & Compliance:
Assist with employee relations, audits, and compliance documentation while staying current on evolving state and federal labor laws.
Collaborative Impact:
Partner with management to proactively identify risk areas, strengthen safety culture, and promote a fair and transparent workplace.
