How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will manage and optimize all plant maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability of the egg grading operation. You’ll combine technical skill with leadership to strengthen preventative maintenance programs, streamline processes, and uphold rigorous food safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight: Plan, schedule, and oversee all routine and emergency maintenance activities across the facility, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Performance: Maintain and optimize high-speed grading and packaging equipment such as Moba, conveyors, loaders, packers, washers, and dryers—ensuring continuous operation and minimal product loss.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement structured PM programs to extend equipment life, reduce unplanned outages, and improve plant reliability.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to support consistent production flow.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance personnel. Foster collaboration with production and quality teams to align on goals and priorities.
  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold HACCP, SQF, and OSHA standards in all maintenance activities. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and work orders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance uptime, throughput, and overall performance.


Qualifications:

  • Required: Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance (preferably within food or agriculture), strong mechanical/electrical/plumbing expertise, and proven leadership capabilities.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with liquid egg processing systems, pasteurization equipment, and welding experience.
  • Attributes: Analytical thinker, proactive problem-solver, effective communicator, and collaborative leader focused on innovation and reliability.
