How You Will Contribute to Our Partner's Success:

The Customer Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator oversees the flow of customer orders from receipt through fulfillment, coordinating distribution to farm processing facilities and maintaining appropriate packaging inventory levels. This position acts as a central point of coordination between customers, plant managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate execution, balanced inventory, and consistent service performance. The role supports daily operations by aligning customer requirements with production capabilities and supply chain readiness in a dynamic agricultural setting.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Operations and Order Management:

  • Review and validate incoming customer purchase orders to ensure quantities, pricing, and terms align with contractual or sales agreements.
  • Generate, oversee, and issue work orders and Bills of Lading (BOLs) to the appropriate farm processing locations.
  • Collaborate with Plant Managers to align order schedules, production volumes, and any customer-specific requirements.
  • Monitor daily inventory surpluses and shortages and adjust order timing or volumes to meet customer commitments and maximize fulfillment efficiency.
  • Act as a primary contact for customer order-related questions, concerns, and issue resolution.


Supply Chain Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels of packaging materials necessary for order fulfillment, including packaging cartons, cases (boxes), flat corrugated, and related supplies.
  • Track consumption rates, inventory thresholds, and reorder points for packaging products across all processing facilities.
  • Identify, escalate, and communicate any order variances, including shortages, delays, or pricing changes.
  • Maintain regular communication with packaging suppliers regarding product availability, lead times, and ordering schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries from packaging suppliers to support continuous and uninterrupted operations.


General:

  • Work closely with the Director of Compliance and Business Affairs and the Sales & Operations Support Associate to maintain strong customer relationships and effectively respond to customer needs.
  • Support demand forecasting efforts by analyzing current and historical data to aid operational planning.
  • Contribute to the development of customer pricing models in support of contract negotiations led by the Business Affairs Director.
  • Maintain well-organized, accurate, and audit-ready records for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control and Compliance teams as necessary to support operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with all personnel, policies, and programs in a manner that reflects and reinforces the company’s values and professional standards.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making in support of the company’s best interests.
  • Participate in cross-training with team members to ensure coverage and continuity during absences.
