The Opportunity
A fast-growing agricultural supply company is seeking a Territory Sales Leader to own and expand a critical California territory. This is a leadership-oriented sales role for someone who wants to build, influence, and grow alongside a business that’s evolving from a traditional supply model into a modern, solutions-driven organization.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
- ~50% of the week in the field visiting customers
- 1–2 days per week in-office for meetings and collaboration
- If based in Fresno, the role will start as work-from-home until the local branch opens
- Occasional travel to Bakersfield (weekly or a few times per month, depending on location)
- Mileage reimbursement provided; some assignments may include a monthly vehicle allowance
Role Overview
This is not a transactional hunter role. The Territory Sales Leader will operate as a business owner for the region, driving revenue growth while helping shape sales strategy, category leadership, and team development.
You’ll have the opportunity to grow a book of business, deepen customer relationships, and play a meaningful role in how the sales organization evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and expand a territory-level book of business
- Sell solutions to growers, contractors, and agricultural service providers
- Build category leadership across products such as trailers, tools, irrigation, and water solutions
- Identify and develop new geographic areas and customer segments
- Establish long-term, trusted customer relationships
- Support new storefront openings and market launches
- Influence and help develop members of the sales team
- Partner closely with sales leadership on KPIs and growth initiatives

The company offers a broad and growing portfolio, including:
- Agricultural trailers (manufactured by a sister company)
- Hand tools and farming equipment
- Irrigation and water solutions
Who This Role Could Be a Fit For
Experience & Background

Experience in agricultural supply, ag equipment, construction, or related B2B sales is highly valued

Experience selling to growers or contractors is a strong plus, but not required
- Candidates with transferable B2B sales experience and a desire to learn the ag space are encouraged to apply
- Broad industry exposure is welcomed; deep crop specialization is not necessary
Leadership & Growth Potential
- Prior manager-level experience is helpful, but not mandatory
- Strong individual contributors with clear leadership potential are encouraged to explore the role
- Comfortable balancing field sales with team support and storefront collaboration
