They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll / HR Specialist to handle full-cycle payroll operations, support HR onboarding, and serve as a key point of contact for internal departments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Southwest Bakersfield.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll for approximately 85 employees using ADP
  • Calculate commissions and issue manual checks as needed
  • Audit employee timekeeping records for accuracy
  • Perform payroll-related journal entries and maintain spreadsheets
  • Handle new hire onboarding and basic HR administration
  • Coordinate with warehouse managers and executive leadership on employee-related matters
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with internal policies and labor regulations


Ideal Candidate Background

  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably with exposure to HR functions
  • Proficient in ADP payroll systems and spreadsheet management
  • Experience with payroll journal entries and timekeeping audits
  • Friendly and flexible, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and maintains a high level of confidentiality
