How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:
As the Food Safety Quality Supervisor, you will oversee FSQ programs, guide technicians, and partner with operations management to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for system implementation, training, audits, and corrective action processes that uphold the company’s commitment to delivering safe, wholesome, and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:

FSQ Program Oversight: Monitor and verify all food safety and quality programs to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Audit Support: Participate in SQF, customer, regulatory, and internal audits, providing documentation and corrective action follow-up.

Training & Development: Train QC staff on sanitation, GMPs, and quality control procedures while supervising daily FSQ activities.

System Management: Develop, update, and maintain FSQ programs, procedures, SOPs, and documentation.

Problem-Solving: Identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and verify resolution.

Collaboration: Partner with operations leadership and technical services to analyze data, drive improvements, and ensure compliance.

Leadership: Supervise FSQ staff, provide direction on testing and inspection activities, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience); 1–3 years in food safety and quality within food manufacturing.

Preferred: Previous supervisory experience with proven success in leading and developing direct reports; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Attributes: Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
