How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:

As a Assistant Pullet Manager, you’ll provide leadership and oversight across feed, production, and animal welfare operations to help achieve state and company performance goals. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in animal science, poultry production, or a related field, along with strong organizational and communication skills and a proven ability to lead and train teams.


  • Training & Policy Implementation: Train, implement, and ensure adherence to company policies aimed at improving feed efficiency, production performance, and mortality targets.
  • Annual Production Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the annual production plan, including scheduling molt cycles, bird movements, and other key activities to meet state or farm goals.
  • Goal Coordination: Work with processing managers to ensure weekly production targets are met and aligned with company expectations.
  • Employee Training: Provide training and support to new house employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to perform successfully.
  • Feed Control Management: Oversee and manage the feed control system for the state, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
  • Post-Mortem Inspections: Conduct and communicate monthly post-mortem inspections, documenting findings and reporting to leadership for review and action.
  • Feed Recommendations: Collaborate with the corporate nutrition department to make data-driven feed recommendations based on product quality and bird performance.
  • Animal Welfare: Ensure animal welfare policies are implemented, trained, and consistently followed in accordance with company standards.
