About the Role

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the overall financial accuracy of the organization. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while partnering closely with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and looking to grow within a stable and evolving agriculture-based organization.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports

• Analyze variances and assist with budget vs. actual reporting

• Reconcile bank accounts, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions

• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Partner with AP/AR to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Support process improvements and system efficiencies


What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or related industry is a plus

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmen
