How You Will Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:

As the Farm Manager, you’ll oversee all live production and maintenance operations for your assigned farm, ensuring optimal flock health, operational efficiency, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. You will lead production strategy, manage personnel, and drive performance through effective planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical understanding of live production systems, and a passion for building high-performing teams in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily live production operations including flock scheduling, feed conversion, vaccination, biosecurity, and mortality control.
• Drive efficiencies across facilities, equipment, and labor while managing costs and improving output.
• Lead and reinforce animal welfare, biosecurity, and employee safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage production budgets, capital investments, and cost-control initiatives in collaboration with the Live Production Manager.
• Partner with vendors to maintain productivity, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of supplies and services.
• Recruit, train, and develop production employees; manage performance, promotions, and succession planning.
• Build a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration across all levels of the operation.
• Lead troubleshooting, audits, and process-improvement projects to enhance efficiency and output.
• Manage environmental systems, including lagoon monitoring and irrigation, ensuring compliance with all EMS standards.
• 5+ years of experience managing live poultry production or similar livestock operations.
• Proven leadership in production efficiency, people management, and maintenance operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on measurable KPIs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across departments, vendors, and leadership teams.
• Proficiency with computer systems and production tracking tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
