  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting renewable energy, utilities, construction, infrastructure, industrial, or environmental consulting projects.
  • Familiarity with agencies such as CUPA, DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, Air Quality Management Districts, or EPA.
  • Experience using SharePoint for document management and compliance tracking.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials, stormwater compliance, environmental permitting, or environmental management systems.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with project teams, contractors, consultants, and regulators. This individual will have hands-on environmental compliance experience, strong organizational skills, and the confidence to represent compliance requirements across multiple operating sites.

This position is expected to convert to a permanent employee after approximately six months based on performance and business needs.
