Position Summary

Our client, a well-established law office in Bakersfield, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Bilingual Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and provide exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.

This position serves as a key point of contact for clients and assists attorneys and staff with administrative, clerical, and client-service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in both English and Spanish
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and consultations
  • Maintain client files and ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Prepare, scan, organize, and file legal and administrative documents
  • Assist with data entry and updating information in case management systems
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email, and office communications
  • Process intake information and assist with client onboarding
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and office staff

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • 1+ years of administrative, receptionist, or office support experience preferred
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in a legal, medical, or professional office environment is a plus
