How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:
As a Poultry Nutritionist, you will lead efforts to develop and optimize nutrition programs, support customers and dealers with technical feed expertise, and drive continuous improvement in feed formulation and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Poultry Nutritionist, you will develop and optimize feed programs, provide technical support to customers and dealers, and drive performance and profitability across operations. You’ll work directly with producers, sales teams, and internal feed specialists to enhance product efficiency, bird health, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Nutrition & Formulation:
- Develop and balance feed formulations and premixes tailored to customer needs.
- Manage ingredient selection, nutritional accuracy, and compliance documentation.
- Provide on-farm technical support to producers, addressing feed performance and production challenges.
- Maintain regular communication to strengthen customer partnerships.
Sales & Product Development:
- Collaborate with sales teams to implement effective nutrition strategies.
- Identify new ingredients, technologies, and solutions that enhance feed efficiency and profitability.
- Partner closely with internal feed teams, mill personnel, and dealer networks to align on strategy, problem-solving, and service goals.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Animal Science, Poultry Nutrition, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in feed formulation and poultry nutrition programs
- Strong understanding of poultry production, flock management, and feed systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels—from producers to veterinarians
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest to support customers and dealer locations
