About the Role

The Complex Manager will be responsible for full oversight of farm operations, including live production, processing, and feed mill functions. This individual will serve as the operational leader across the entire site, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and performance across each division while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on coordinating multiple departments, developing teams, and ensuring the overall success of the operation from both a production and compliance standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of live production, processing operations, and feed mill performance
  • Ensure alignment and communication across departments to drive overall operational efficiency
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders and supervisors across the complex
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics including production output, cost control, and quality
  • Ensure compliance with all animal welfare, food safety, and regulatory standards
  • Partner with leadership to implement operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across the site
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges across multiple functional areas

  • Proven leadership experience overseeing multi-site or complex farm/ag operations
  • Strong background in Processing with working knowledge of live operations and feed mill operations
  • Experience managing through multiple layers of leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards
  • Ability to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Strong operational and financial acumen
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
