How You’ll Contribute to Our Partner’s Success:

The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the food safety and quality programs within the egg pasteurization facility, ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This role assists in the day-to-day implementation, documentation, and verification of food safety systems, including HACCP, SQF, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a key role in maintaining audit readiness, monitoring production activities, and promoting a strong culture of food safety throughout the plant.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support and maintain HACCP, SQF, and GMP programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory and customer standards.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational inspections, in-process checks, and finished product verifications.
  • Perform internal audits and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Assist with environmental monitoring, swabbing, and sample collection as required.
  • Monitor pasteurization processes to ensure compliance with thermal processing and documentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized FSQA documentation, including production records, audit results, and verification logs.
  • Assist with preparation for third-party, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Collect and trend quality and food safety data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • 2–3 years of food industry experience, preferably in egg or liquid processing, dairy, or other pasteurized products.
  • HACCP certification (or ability to obtain).
  • SQF Practitioner and/or PCQI certification a plus.
