
About the Opportunity
Our client, a highly respected food and beverage manufacturer, is seeking a forward-thinking People Operations Manager to lead all aspects of human resources and organizational development. This is a strategic leadership role and the highest level within the HR function, responsible for shaping company culture, driving engagement, and aligning people strategy with overall business goals.
The ideal candidate will be a strong business partner to senior leadership—someone who can balance operational excellence with strategic insight. This individual will play a critical role in developing programs that enhance retention, performance, and the employee experience across all departments and levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the People Operations and HR function across all business units, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team.
- Design and implement HR strategies that support organizational growth, employee engagement, and culture alignment.
- Oversee all core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Develop and execute programs focused on leadership development, succession planning, and employee retention.
- Partner with department heads to ensure staffing levels, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives align with business needs.
- Champion a people-first culture, promoting communication, collaboration, and recognition throughout the organization.
- Evaluate and improve HR systems, policies, and processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Lead employee relations with fairness, transparency, and a focus on problem solving and trust building.
- Analyze workforce data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Drive initiatives that reinforce diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.

8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic or senior management role.
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with executive-level stakeholders.
