Position Overview: A growing boutique law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys in handling a busy caseload of family law matters. This fully remote position requires a highly organized professional who is comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with attorneys, clients, and support staff. The ideal candidate has experience in family law procedures and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist attorneys with all phases of family law cases, including divorce, child custody and timesharing, child support, alimony, and post-judgment matters.

· Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.

· Manage case files and maintain organized electronic records.

· Coordinate and track deadlines, court filings, and case calendars.

· Prepare discovery responses, organize exhibits, and assist with trial and mediation preparation.

· Communicate with clients to gather documents, provide updates, and assist with case-related inquiries.

· File documents with courts and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.

· Conduct basic legal and factual research as needed.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5+ years of family law paralegal experience.

· Strong understanding of family law procedures and court filings.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a remote environment.

· Proficiency with legal case management software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office.

· High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Paralegal certificate from an accredited program.

· Experience supporting litigation matters through trial or mediation.

· Prior experience working in a remote legal environment.
