Associate Attorney

Practice Area: Insurance Coverage

Location: Miami, FL 33101

Schedule: Onsite 3 days per week (hybrid), 160+ monthly billable hour required. Benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with employer contribution, and a bonus for those who meet their minimum hourly requirement.

Recently AmLaw 100 acclaimed full-service insurance defense firm recognized for its collaborative litigation and strong focus on insurance coverage and claims. The firm’s Miami office is growing its Insurance Coverage Practice to meet increasing client demand.

Description:

The selected candidate will focus on analyzing insurance coverage matters and preparing detailed coverage opinions involving first-party property and general liability issues. Litigation responsibilities include drafting motions, attending court hearings, taking depositions, and arguing motions in state and federal courts. Collaboration with a highly skilled team and opportunities for professional growth, including potential partnership, are key benefits of this role.

Qualifications:

• 2–7 years of experience in insurance coverage analysis and litigation.
• Strong skills in legal research and writing.
• Experience in depositions, hearings, and motion arguments.
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
• Substantive litigation experience and demonstrated interest in insurance law are highly valued.
• Partnership consideration for well-qualified candidates with relevant expertise.
