Litigation Attorney - Estates & Probate Litigation

Location: Miami, FL 33131 (Biscayne Boulevard)

Schedule: Hybrid; in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays (additional perks provided)

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, with performance-based annual bonuses

Position Overview:

The Associate Attorney will be an essential member of a dynamic litigation team focusing on complex estate and probate disputes. The role involves working closely with senior attorneys and clients to navigate sophisticated financial issues, contested wills, and elder exploitation cases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex probate litigation, including contested wills, trust disputes, and guardianship matters.
  • Develop innovative legal strategies for cases involving elder exploitation, fiduciary misconduct, and capacity disputes.
  • Collaborate with peers and experts to analyze financial and forensic evidence critical to the case.
  • Draft, review, and litigate high-level legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Engage with clients in a professional and personable manner, providing counsel on sensitive family and financial matters.
  • Participate in court proceedings, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and a courtroom presence.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the Florida State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in probate, estate, or trust litigation; experience in commercial litigation is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and legal writing skills, with attention to financial intricacies.
  • Strong client-relations abilities with a focus on empathetic and strategic representation.


Preferred Skills:

  • LLM in Estate Planning or Taxation.
  • Experience handling elder exploitation cases and capacity-related disputes.
  • Exposure to high-profile or financially complex cases, ideally in a firm with a collaborative culture.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
